New Product Status Report Feature
TOP
The Product Status Report feature has been added to the service tool, which allows the user to capture the status of a machine or engine at a specific moment in time. Data loaded from the ECM is compiled in the Product Status Report and includes parameters, user comments, and user-selected diagnostics and/or configuration information. The report is automatically saved once it has been created and may be viewed immediately or at a later time.
Customer Passwords Update
TOP
When customer passwords are entered, they are now temporarily saved for the duration of the current ECM connection. This permits users to continue service without repeatedly entering customer passwords and without having the current passwords memorized.
If the customer passwords are unknown, users may click the "Factory Passwords" button in the Enter Customer Passwords dialog. This generates factory passwords and permits users to continue service without knowing customer passwords.
If the ECM must be disconnected and then reconnected during servicing, the Customer Password Reset/Restore feature may be used.
Histogram Support Enhancements
TOP
A number of enhancements have been made to the Histogram screen in order to both improve current functionality and meet future needs:
· Ranges now display between each bar instead of underneath each bar. This increases the readability of graphs that include a large number of bins.
· Users now have the option to view labels, or values, only when a bin is moused over. This option is automatically selected when the number of bins is greater than 30.
· A zoom feature has been added which allows users to view the graph at up to 8x its standard size. A scroll bar allows the user to view the entire graph while it is zoomed.
