There are many individuals and organizations working in effective and engaging ways to end tuberculosis (TB) in the United States. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) U.S. TB Elimination Champions provides an opportunity to recognize accomplishments and learn best practices from people who are making a significant contribution to preventing and controlling TB.
CDC is issuing a call for stories of success to learn about the organizations and people who are making a difference. We hope to hear from state and local health departments, homeless and correctional facilities, public health laboratories, and other organizations that are working to end TB in the United States. We will share these inspiring success stories through CDC’s website and social media. The stories and lessons learned can help other organizations end TB in their communities.
